Who can benefit from IV hydration therapy?
Who cannot get an IV infusion?
What are the risks and side effects of IV hydration therapy?
What kind of preparation is needed before an IV infusion?
In general there is no special preparation needed. However, we advise against consuming alcoholic beverages within four hours of an infusion.
How often should I get an infusion?
Where are your vitamins manufactured?
Are there any limitations after the infusion?
No, but we recommend avoiding alcohol for the remainder of the day.
How will I feel after the infusion?
Most people notice increased energy. Some people report a vitamin taste in their mouth and/or a strong vitamin smell in their urine–but that is totally normal. You may see dramatic effects after the first IV depending on your nutritional hydration status.
Why can’t I just take the vitamins orally?
Because supplements taken orally have to pass through the GI tract. Your body is only able to absorb up to 20% of the nutritional value. IV hydration therapy delivers fluids mixed with vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants directly into the bloodstream, bypassing the digestive system. This enables the body to absorb almost 100% of the nutrients it needs to thrive!
Is there a doctor present?
thrIVe Drip Solutions has a licensed physician, our Medical Director, who oversees the operations of IV administration. One of our professional, licensed, and skilled IV specialists will administer and monitor you while receiving your infusion.
